Thank You to Our Suppporters

We are extremely grateful to all of Safe Haven's supporters and we want to extend special thanks to our Congressional Delegation. Senator Thomas Carper, Senator Ted Kaufman, and Congressman Mike Castle were very helpful in the USDA loan application process.

Safe Haven also wishes to thank the Longwood Foundation and Welfare Foundation of Wilmington for their grants. In addition, we are always full of gratitude to our donors and volunteers who have worked so hard to bring a true No-Kill sanctuary to Sussex County.

Senator Thomas Carper (D): “I have always supported animal protection bills, and understand the importance of protecting these innocent creatures who cannot speak for them-selves. Safe Haven Sanctuary will serve as a model for others to follow.”  More...
