Sign-A-Rama Supports Safe Haven

sitesign2.jpg
Back in the Fall of 2005, shortly after we purchased our 13.5 acres on Shingle Point Road in Georgetown, Sign-A-Rama decided we needed a permanent 8’ sign to mark our location. Knowing our financial situation, they donated the sign and labor necessary to put it in place. Sign-A-Rama continues to go the extra mile for our organization through their constant donation of many signs associated with our various events.

Katie and Gwen, co-owners of Sign-A-Rama, also arrange art work, production and ordering of our t-shirts at no cost to us. They have, for the past year, been doing the same thing with Safe Haven sweatshirts. There is a very small profit on the sweatshirts and Katie and Gwen donate that back to Safe Haven. They are pictured below doing this.

Grandchildren of Safe Haven Volunteer Raise Funds with Lemonade Stand
Mackenzie and Isabella Baldwin and their friend, Samantha Rim joined forces to help raise funds for Safe Haven. According to their grandmother and Safe Haven volunteer, Diane Baldwin, the three girls decided on their own that they wanted to have a lemonade stand with all donations going to a dog and cat charity. This is what they included on their sign along with a note that the lemonade was free and all donations would go to an animal-related charity. They decided later to donate to Safe Haven.

MOD Cottage, Rehoboth Beach, Supports Safe Haven
Brad Holsinger and Ed Moore, co-owners of MOD Cottage, a home store located in downtown Rehoboth Beach that offers modern home accessories, recently hosted a sale in honor of its one-year anniversary. The shop donated a percentage of the evening’s sales to the Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary. The celebration included light refreshments and several drawings for prizes. Animals are an important part of Brad and Ed’s lives and that was the reason for this wonderful event.
